ListenTrip paid digital content payment and refund policy

1. Refund Eligibility

ListenTrip sells digital audio guide access only. This Refund Policy applies to paid digital audio guides, audio guide bundles, and related online access rights.

A full refund is available within 7 days of purchase if the purchased content has not been opened after payment, played, streamed, downloaded for offline use, or otherwise accessed.

After digital access begins, change-of-mind refunds are generally not available because the purchased digital content has been delivered.

2. When Refunds Are Available After Use

A refund or replacement may still be available if:

  • the purchased content cannot be delivered;
  • access is unavailable due to a service-side error;
  • the content is materially different from its product description;
  • a duplicate payment occurred;
  • an incorrect charge occurred; or
  • a refund is required by applicable consumer law.

3. What Counts As Use

The following may count as use of purchased digital content:

  • starting audio playback;
  • streaming a guide chapter;
  • opening purchased guide content after payment;
  • downloading content for offline use;
  • using any guide included in a purchased bundle.

4. What Is Not Included

ListenTrip sells digital audio guide access only. Admission tickets, venue-operated access arrangements, transportation, in-person guide services, tours, and on-site access are not included. Refunds for museum closures, venue crowding, route changes, admission ticket availability, transportation issues, weather, or personal schedule changes are not available unless required by applicable law or unless the issue was caused by ListenTrip.

5. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the applicable payment processor. We aim to approve and process eligible requests within 3 business days, but processing times may vary depending on the bank, card network, payment processor, and country.

6. Abuse And Misuse

We may deny refund requests involving account sharing, unauthorized copying, abusive refund behavior, false claims, or other violations of the Terms of Use.

How To Request A Refund

  1. Log in and go to My Page.
  2. In your purchase history, select the refund button for the eligible order.
  3. Review the confirmation dialog and enter a reason if requested.
  4. The service checks refund eligibility automatically. If the order qualifies, the refund is processed without separate administrator approval.
  5. If the refund button is not shown, or if the order is marked as confirmed or not refundable, contact support at support@listen-trip.com.

Legal Notes

  • This policy is operated in line with Korean consumer and e-commerce laws applicable to digital content, and with the payment processor rules that apply to the transaction.
  • If mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you non-waivable rights, those rights are not limited by this policy.
  • We may update this policy if laws, regulator guidance, service features, or payment processor rules change.
