Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between 리슨트립, referred to as the Company, we, or us, and users of the ListenTrip website and progressive web app service.

2. Service

  1. ListenTrip provides digital audio guides, route guidance, text, images, and related online services for museums, palaces, exhibitions, and cultural places in Korea.
  2. The service sells digital guide content only. Admission tickets, museum reservations, transportation, and on-site access are not included unless expressly stated.
  3. Some content may be available for offline playback through the progressive web app. Offline downloads are temporary copies for personal service use only.

3. Accounts

  1. Users may create an account through supported social login providers, including Kakao and Google.
  2. Users must provide accurate information and keep their account secure. Users are responsible for activity that occurs through their account.
  3. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account if the user provides false information, interferes with the service, violates these terms, or infringes the rights of another person.

4. Paid Digital Content

  1. Paid content is provided as a one-time digital purchase or pass, as shown on the checkout page.
  2. Prices are shown in the service or checkout flow. Prices may change, but changes do not affect content already purchased.
  3. Korean checkout may be processed by TossPayments. International checkout may be processed by Lemon Squeezy, which may act as the merchant of record for supported purchases.
  4. Purchased content is licensed to the purchasing user for personal use only and may not be transferred, resold, rented, shared, or commercially exploited.

5. Refunds And Withdrawal

  1. Users may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if the content or pass has not been played, streamed, downloaded, or otherwise used.
  2. Because the service provides digital content, change-of-mind refunds may be restricted after content delivery, streaming, playback, or offline download begins.
  3. If content is defective, cannot be delivered, is materially different from its description, or if a duplicate payment or payment error occurs, we may provide a refund or replacement as required by applicable law and service policy.

6. Offline Download

  1. Offline download is provided for user convenience and may be changed or discontinued for operational reasons.
  2. Downloaded content may be used only within the service. Copying, extracting, distributing, selling, or transmitting downloaded content is prohibited.
  3. If an account is closed or access rights expire or are revoked, offline access to downloaded content may also end.

7. User Responsibilities

Users must not:

  • Provide false information or use another person's account.
  • Interfere with service operation or security.
  • Copy, distribute, transmit, sell, rent, or scrape content.
  • Upload or publish unlawful, misleading, harmful, or abusive content.
  • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. Content created, edited, or provided by the Company, including AI-assisted scripts, audio, text, images, and service design, belongs to the Company or its licensors.
  2. Users receive a limited, non-transferable license to access purchased content for personal use through the service.
  3. User-submitted reviews or feedback remain owned by the user, but the user grants us a non-exclusive right to use them for service operation, improvement, and promotion.

9. Privacy

We process personal information according to the Privacy Policy. Service usage records, payment records, gift records, playback events, download events, device information, and analytics events may be processed to provide the service, prevent abuse, and improve quality.

10. Service Changes And Availability

  1. We aim to provide stable service, but service may be interrupted for maintenance, network failure, provider failure, force majeure, or other unavoidable reasons.
  2. We may change, add, or discontinue service features when needed for operation, quality, security, or legal compliance.

11. Disclaimers

  1. Guide content is provided for cultural, educational, and travel convenience. Users should check current venue hours, tickets, closures, routes, and safety information directly with the venue.
  2. We do not guarantee that AI-assisted or editorial content is complete, error-free, or suitable for every user's purpose.
  3. We are not responsible for service issues caused by the user's device, network, account misuse, or violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law And Support

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
